Travelers Conference Covid-19 Policy
To offer the safest environment possible for our attendees, speakers, employees and volunteers, we have implemented the following requirements for those participating in TravCon 2022.
A person is considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna or Pfizer), other WHO-approved vaccine, or a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson) two weeks after the final dose of vaccine (the second dose for a two-dose regimen or the single dose for a single-dose regimen).
Documentation of vaccination status (electronic or physical card) must be shown with a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) upon entry to the venue and available upon request at any time.
Anyone who is not vaccinated must show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of entry or a negative antigen test administered by a healthcare or pharmacy provider taken within 24 hours of entry. An at-home antigen test administered by a virtual proctor with a time/date stamped result within 24 hours will also be accepted.
The following are acceptable as proof of negative COVID-19 test result:
- Printed document from the test provider or laboratory, or
- An email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.
The information provided needs to include the name of the person tested, type of test performed and date of negative test (date must be within 72 hours for PCR tests and 24 hours for acceptable antigen tests).
Only the two types of antigen tests outlined above will be accepted. Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider, a laboratory or a health care provider will not be accepted.
A matching photo ID (such as driver’s license or passport) is required.
